Viewers were left in hysterics when Cat Deeley made a hilarious appearance on Saturday Night Takeaway, where she reunited with her former SMTV co-stars Live Ant and Dec.
Ready to get ‘revenge’ on the couple after their brutal prank years earlier, the new This Morning presenter, 47, announced she was going to read a gruesome bedtime story.
Scoffing that the presenting duo had “no idea” what she had prepared for them, the presenter left the audience at home in stitches after branding Newcastle “dark and gloomy”.
Cat made a glamorous entrance in a black beaded minidress with one sleeve removed and another puffed, while holding the book of ‘scary stories’ in her hands.
Ant and Dec were then forced to dress up as their hilarious monster alter-egos Anty and Decky, and then the duo brought to life everything Cat said as she narrated the story.

Joking that the presenting duo had “no idea” what she had prepared for them, the presenter left the audience at home in stitches after branding Newcastle “dark and gloomy”.
While Ant became a furry purple cyclops, Dec also became a furry brown monster with peculiar orange hair.
And as the This Morning star continued with his terrifying plan, the presenting pair suffered a hilarious “electric shock” to the bottom, leaving the audience bursting into uncontrollable laughter.
‘Suddenly, the weather took an unpleasant turn. It can be like that in dark and dreary Newcastle, and poor Anty and Decky were struck by lightning,” he said, pressing a button next to her.
Terrified Decky exclaimed pleadingly, ‘Cat, no, don’t press that!’, before another bolt of lightning struck them once again.
“And they say lightning never strikes twice, but sadly, tonight for Anty and Decky it did,” Cat continued, pressing the terrible button for the third time.
But there was more, as even This Morning co-host Ben Shephard also made a hilarious appearance as part of the prank.
The former Good Morning Britain star, 49, was spotted inside a box containing some fake birds, leaving fans laughing at the hilarious scenario.
Viewers were hysterical, with some gushing over Cat, Ant and Dec’s reunion and remembering the legendary 1998 comedy sketch SMTV Live on ITV, which featured the trio co-hosting.
