A blushing bride revealed she blushed when her mother-in-law tried to sabotage her wedding day by excluding her from her own photos.
The anonymous newlywed took to Reddit to reveal that she had been feeling “hurt” and frustrated with her husband’s mother.

She revealed that there was “a lot of drama” before the wedding and that led to her husband’s mother taking family photos without the bride there.
The anonymous woman confessed that despite being the bride, she felt ‘ignored’ because her mother-in-law tried to control her special day.

The post was titled: ‘The in-laws made changes to the day without asking the bride or groom.’
At the beginning of the post she explained that although her wedding took place ‘a month ago’, she still felt ashamed.
She revealed: ‘My wedding was about a month ago and the more I reflect on it, the more embarrassed I am.
‘Before the wedding, there was a lot of drama. I hoped everything would come together for the wedding and everyone would get through it. They didn’t do it.
‘My in-laws asked to pay for the essay and we were very grateful. Then they decided not to tip any vendors for the rehearsal, which caused me to have a panic attack in the bathroom during the event.’
In addition to neglecting vendors during the rehearsal dinner, the bride revealed that her spouse’s mother also left her out of family photos.
“My in-laws then proceeded to take “family photos” during the rehearsal dinner and did not include me. I was sitting at the table next to where the pictures were being taken and was not asked to join.
‘I even got up at one point and asked my parents what I should do and they were horrified. “I don’t have any photos of me from the rehearsal or the rehearsal dinner,” he added.

Although the bride thought the chaos would end on her wedding day, she was proven wrong when the drama reached a boiling point during the ceremony.
The bride revealed that her mother-in-law made a series of changes without discussing it with her or her husband, leaving them in a fit of rage.
She said: “On the day of the royal wedding, my mother-in-law decided to pay the DJ to change the mother-son dance she and her son had chosen to an upbeat dance song without telling my husband, who hates dancing. He felt very uncomfortable with this decision.
‘My mother-in-law also decided to give a last-minute speech that she had not prepared. In fact, we had asked him at least twice if he wanted to give a speech at the wedding and he always refused.
‘She told our wedding planner she was going to give a speech and our wedding planner said she needed approval from the bride and groom. My mother-in-law never consulted me.
And if the last-minute changes weren’t enough to ruin her special day, the bride admitted she was even more shocked when she discovered her mother-in-law tried to divert attention by wearing a wedding dress, and convince others to do the same.

The Reddit user said: ‘The worst part is that MIL asked all her friends to wear wedding dresses/white dresses to our wedding. Luckily, only one did. It was silver, so it wasn’t white, but it was definitely a wedding dress. MIL was wearing a very pale blue dress that was basically white. All my friends came up to me asking why there were two other people in wedding dresses (MIL and her best friend).
‘Overall, I felt ignored as a girlfriend and hurt that everyone allowed this to happen, even when I expressed that my feelings were hurt.
