  • DJ Uiagalelei has been efficient so far in his FSU debut (12-14, 96 yards), but he hasn’t thrown the ball down the field much. The Seminoles might have to open up the playbook in the second half because the Yellow Jackets have been aggressive.

FSU’s Ryan Fitzgerald kicks a 59-yard field goal to tie the game. What a great kick!

  • The Seminoles are trying to score before halftime. We’re just under two minutes from the mark and they have the ball at their own 30-yard line.

QB Haynes King did a lot of the legwork on that run series, but it’s Jamal Haynes who bullies his way into the end zone for the TD and the go-ahead.

  • GT is moving the ball once again with big plays. They are now in FSU’s red zone and have a chance to take the lead.

  • Florida State 11, Georgia Tech 7

  • Georgia Tech can’t do anything with the possession and gives it back to FSU.

  • FSU tries 4th down in GT territory and FAILS. What a great stop by the Yellow Jackets! They will have the ball at their own 34-yard line.

  • Georgia Tech Touchdown!

Zach Pyron charges into the end zone to cap a six-play, 79-yard drive. Game on!

  • Georgia Tech has responded with a direct march down the field. Haynes King handed the ball to Malik Rutherford for a 42-yard play, but the Yellow Jackets are moving the ball with ease.

  • Florida State 8, Georgia Tech 0

The Seminoles tried a swing gate play for the two-point conversion and they made it! That’s one way to start the season.
