She recently opened up about a “scary” health scare she experienced during her baby shower last month.
“My arms and legs went numb and I couldn’t breathe, and it took a lot of effort to keep from passing out and getting to bed,” she recalled on her podcast Give Them Lala.
“I was trying to yell at my mom, but again I was having a hard time and I was very, very worried,” Kent added.
She explained: “I don’t know what happened. I heard I might be sitting weird, but I felt overwhelming guilt because I had been complaining so much about my body hurting and I just wanted it to be over.”
Kent called his doctor from bed, but eventually felt better after “positioning himself in a different way.”
“Suddenly I could breathe,” she said. “(The baby) was definitely active. I told (the doctor), ‘He hasn’t stopped moving.’ And he said, ‘It’s okay, I’m less worried now.'”
The Spree actress assumed the baby was simply “in a weird position,” adding, “He was like, ‘I really need you to start not standing. Don’t overexert yourself during the day.'”
“And that’s been the case,” Kent admitted. “I think I’ve been over-pacing myself since the second quarter.”
