Travis Barker shared that his romance with wife Kourtney Kardashian started on a sweaty note.
The rocker, 48, revealed he was a “sparring partner” with the Kardashian star, 45, before sparks flew and they began a relationship.
“It’s one of the main reasons we were so close,” he said. People in a new interview, while promoting his upcoming Run Travis Run event.
“We would always work out together, go running together or do stuff like that together before we got into a relationship. We were always workout partners. That’s how it all started,” she added.
The Blink-182 drummer said the couple has remained active together, even after welcoming their son Rocky in November 2023.

“We’ll do Pilates together, we’ll set aside half an hour or an hour every day to hang out,” she said of her routine with the Poosh founder.
Travis said he starts his day by “walking for 30 minutes while consuming some type of audiobook or podcast.”
He shared that he does the same thing at night because he has always had a hard time “sleeping,” especially after playing a concert when he is “nervous and hyperactive.”
She also said she borrowed Kourtney’s recipe for a “really good avocado smoothie.”
“I stole her smoothie and evolved it a bit to make it myself. We’re both really into wellness. I introduced her to matcha at the time and she introduced me to some foods in particular.”
Travis said the mother of four eats a vegan diet “about 75 percent of the time.”
“It’s amazing to be with someone who has the same love for wellness,” she added.
The Run Travis Run will take place in Los Angeles on Saturday, July 6 and in Queens, New York on Sunday, July 21.
Travis and Kourtney stepped into the shoes of Forrest Gump and Jenny to film a fun promotional video for the drummer’s racing event last month.
The musician recreated scenes from Forrest Gump’s epic race across the United States wearing a similar short-sleeved plaid shirt, belted khaki pants and a red cap.

He captioned the post: “I felt like running,” which is the same thing Tom Hanks, as Forrest Gump, told a reporter in the film when asked why he ran across the United States for three years, two months, 14 days and 16 hours, covering 13,889 miles and crossing the country nearly five times.
In The event page Travis writes: “After my accident in 2008, over 70% of my body was burned and doctors told me I might never be able to walk or play drums like I used to. I was never an athlete or play sports, but I immediately felt the need to prove everyone wrong, including myself.”
“I started with short walks and then started running every day. I felt a sense of calm and a dopamine rush every time I ran. I’ve done it for years and I always start my day like this. I even run 5K every day before my shows when I’m on tour.”
“Last year I ran my first half marathon and participated in a few 5K races. I loved how everyone from all walks of life ran together and supported each other. The running community is huge and it really inspired me to create Run Travis Run as a way to bring like-minded people together. I want to motivate people to get out and walk or run for a few hours, as well as make healthy choices and create healthy habits.”

Travis ran a half marathon in Santa Monica on New Year’s Eve with Kourtney cheering him on.
“We’re going to finish 2023 with a bang,” Barker wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of him proudly displaying his medal.
In the snaps she shared on her Instagram story, she revealed that she ran 13.14 miles in a quick time of 2 hours and 8 minutes.
