President of Lionsgate’s Motion Picture Group, Joe Drake, made a statement to express his enthusiasm for the project.
‘In fact, we have found good luck with this film. We love the script and strongly believe in Aziz as a performer and director,” he stated.
The entertainment industry titan also praised Reeves and Seth Rogen, who is also involved.
“When you add Seth and Keanu, two incredible world-class talents, headlining alongside Aziz, this has the potential to be a very special film for us. “We acted quickly to land this project once it became available,” he said. .

Good Fortune is Ansari’s second attempt at making his directorial debut, as his first directorial project, Being Mortal, was shelved indefinitely in April 2022.
The feature would have been based on Atul Gawande’s book Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End, which was published in 2014.
Ansari, Rogen and Keke Palmer, who will be in Good Fortune, were set to star in the film.
Good Fortune does not have a scheduled release date.
