A 21-year-old man broke down in tears after begging his 34-year-old “sugar mummy” lover to lend him some money to give to his family.
Tensions reach new heights in a new series of 90 Day Fiancé UK, when Johan, from the Dominican Republic, tearfully asks his older lover Charlotte, from Southampton, to give him $140 for his mother and grandmother.
Charlotte, a barber, falls madly in love with Johan, a member of a hotel’s entertainment team, while on vacation with her mother and stepfather. The couple then decided to get married, even though they only spent three weeks together in person.
Charlotte’s mother has since expressed concern about their whirlwind relationship and worries she will be used as a “sugar mummy.”
Johan did nothing to allay suspicions after asking for $60 for his mother and $80 more for his grandmother so she could buy “rice” and pay her “electricity” bill.

On the show, the couple was seen enjoying a romantic dinner in the Dominican Republic when Johan burst into tears.
He explained to her: ‘You know how much I love my grandmother.’
His fiancée, dressed in a stunning lilac asymmetrical bodycon dress, responded: “We can help you.”
Fighting back tears, Johan told him not to worry, but his obedient companion insisted that he would like to help.
‘You know, tomorrow we have to give it to, you know, someone. My mom, my grandmother,’ she said.
‘Because, you know, they depend on (on) me, you know. (I need $60 for my mom and $80 for my grandmother.’ he continued.
Charlotte, who was visibly surprised, told him ‘that’s a lot’ and then asked: ‘What do you need it for?’

Holding back tears, Johan asks his lover for financial help.
Things turn sour during their romantic dinner, causing Charlotte to sweetly comfort her partner.
Johan then mentioned “electricity”, “rice” and “money” as the cause of his sudden financial request.
Giving in to her lover’s demands, Charlotte said, “You can’t do it all, so I’ll have to pay a lot, right?” It’s a lot of responsibility’.
Later in the show, Johan praised Charlotte, telling producers that she “has money” and is a “good woman.”
He said, ‘Charlotte, she has some money. My family and I think she is a good woman. You know, she took care of me and we have everything.’
The couple’s courtship so far has included talking on the phone three times a day and telling each other how much they love each other. Charlotte also visited him again to spend time with him.
Speaking about the series, Charlotte said of her man: “He’s gorgeous, he’s a bit of a cheeky guy and his eyes are to die for.”

Later in the show, Johan praises Charlotte and tells the producers that she “has money” and is a “good woman.”
“I was absolutely stunned that he wanted to marry me. I thought, ‘How did I get so lucky?’
“I know it sounds pretty crazy, but I’ve never been so in love with someone before and I’m going to follow my heart.”
When Charlotte met Johan, he was 20 years old, but she was told he was much older than his actual age.
When she discovered how young he was, she “got scared” and “put her hands on her head,” but that didn’t stop her from falling in love with him.
But Charlotte’s mother has expressed concern about their whirlwind relationship and worries she will be used as a “sugar mummy”.
Johan and Charlotte are already trying to have children together, and the 34-year-old hinted that they are having unprotected sex.
Johan wants to have twins and Charlotte said she really wants to start a family with her fiancé.
The couple’s wedding will be held in the Dominican Republic and 80 guests will attend, although only two of them will be from the bride’s side.
But Charlotte’s mother told her: ‘I have some concerns.
‘Everyone tells me: “Is it because you want a ticket here?” It’s on my mind, Charlotte… and I’m your mother, and if I didn’t mention it and something went wrong, then I wouldn’t forgive myself.
The hairdresser said she finds these judgments “very offensive,” and revealed that they make her feel like she “isn’t good enough.”
When asked who would pay for the wedding, Charlotte admitted that she would “foot most of the bill.”
Her stepfather then asked her if she had sent money to Johan, who is 13 years younger than her.
‘I sent him some money for his birthday. I have helped with two things. When I left the Dominican I left him a little money to thank him and for his passport.
“When there was a hurricane, I bought his mother a new roof.”
But Charlotte’s mother was not very impressed and said: “Well, I don’t really agree with that.” You are not his sugar mummy, that is not your place.
Her daughter then responded: “It’s hard because they don’t always have what we have and I thought, ‘How are these people going to manage?'”
His mother then replied, “Well, they would have had to if you hadn’t been there.”
