“When I left, I was making $31 an hour. I came back about seven years ago as an assistant store manager intern at $15, then as an assistant store manager at $18.50. Raises brought me up to $21.”

Others have called their experiences “horrible” and “miserable,” while another backed Griffin’s alleged hourly wage.

“I love it there! A woman who has been with the company for 27 years makes over $30 an hour and gets overtime,” wrote one TikTok user.

At least three commenters who claimed to work in the medical field admitted that they allegedly earn much less than Griffin.

One TikTok user wrote: “I’ve been working as an administrative assistant at a busy hospital for almost 17 years and I make $21. I think I’d rather work at Walgreens.”
