A scandalous new reality show starring transgender women has shocked viewers, many of whom are calling for better representation of the LGBTQ community.
The Gworls Club, which was executive produced by Ray J, follows a group of transgender women who live together in a Los Angeles mansion.
A trailer for the series features multiple scenes of women violently engaging in fistfights, ripping off each other’s wigs and exchanging vile obscenities.
Many of the fights are so physical that a team of security guards is forced to intervene.
In one incredible scene, two trans women tell another cast member, named ‘Mangina’, that she is a ‘drag queen’ and is not actually trans.

The Gworls Club, which was executive produced by Ray J, follows a group of outspoken transgender women who live together in a Los Angeles mansion.
“There’s a difference! Trans, drag,” one shouts, while her friend adds: “Mangina, look at you, how disgusting!”
Many viewers have expressed disappointment at the nature of the show, which not only features an entirely transgender cast, but is primarily made up of trans women of color.
“We need something better for culture. Can these women go visit a hospital and starving children?” asked one fan.
“I was expecting a show about beautiful trans women overcoming their struggles and moving forward… this shit is just ghetto fighting garbage with no point,” another said.
“I wanted to be a part of this but I definitely wasn’t expecting this at all. I thought it would be so much better. I don’t like how they’re portraying trans women,” another person added.
“I will never watch any show that allows women to fight like animals. Is this what we think of ourselves? Shame on us!” commented one.
Another wrote: “With all the negative shit going on against trans women (especially politically), why would we want to see sisters fighting each other? Fight the system and vote. I won’t be watching.”

Despite the backlash, a handful of fans have expressed their support for The Gworls Club.
“I can’t wait, this is going to be epic! I’m so glad you’re opening your doors to our trans sisters,” one fan gushed.
“I’m ready for this,” said another, while another wrote: “I’ll definitely be watching this!”
The Gworls Club stars a handful of familiar faces, including reality star Sidney Starr, who has appeared on Love & Hip-Hop and the Baddies franchise.
Australian actress Daniielle Alexis, best known for her role in prison drama Wentworth, has also been cast in the controversial series.
Ray J recently defended The Gworls Club during an appearance on Fox Soul. TEA GIF.
“Yes, there’s a lot of fighting and a lot of drama within each show, but there’s also a story arc that leads you to something that can be inspiring or emotional,” he explained.
“Or you could even learn from some of the mistakes that are made in programs and grow from them.”
He added: “We really care about the talent and their stories and how they end up.”

Earlier this month, Tubi debuted House of Heat, which follows the lives and careers of OnlyFans creators and porn stars.
The risqué series holds nothing back, with the cast inviting cameras into their bedrooms as they host X-rated streams for their subscribers.
Cast members include a single mother who wants to be a “role model” for her young son, a gay couple working in the porn industry, and a fitness model who sells his used underwear to the highest bidder.
Joseline’s Cabaret follows former stripper and reality star Joseline Hernandez as she puts on a live strip show featuring a rowdy cast of exotic dancers and sex workers.
In one episode, Hernandez has sex with her fiancé, music producer Ballistic Beats, in a bathtub.
Ray J, who produced the series for his new network Tronix, said he hoped viewers could “learn from the mistakes” of the show’s cast.
TLC has also been in the news for its own hit reality show, MILF Manor.
The first season of the bizarre series followed women over 40 who dated each other’s children in a Mexican village.
Meanwhile, British reality series Open House: The Great Sexperiment about polyamorous couples sparked backlash in Britain after airing a 15-person orgy.
The show featured engaged couples who came to a luxury retreat to test whether opening up their relationships and having sex with other people can “strengthen their bond.”
Club Gworls premieres on The Tronix Network on July 8.
