Executive producer Colette Flight said: “Celebrities have been moved to tears, laughter, anger and joy as they learn about the lives of their ancestors.”
The series is expected to air on BBC One during the summer.

TOWIE legend Gemma Collins (pictured earlier this year) also features in the billing for the upcoming series.
Lancashire native Paddy McGuinness (pictured March 2022) will also be on the show to learn about his background.
She said: “It’s very important to keep this history very close and make sure the children know about it,” she said.
‘It’s very important that people like my grandfather can remember him and I’m sure there are many veterans who felt unable or unwilling to do so.
“So any kind of information we can have about that story is important.”
