Two Ohio women were arrested for allegedly holding the body of an elderly man in a car and driving him to a bank to withdraw money.

Loreen Bea Feralo, 55, and Karen Casbohm, 63, have been accused of carrying the body of Douglas Layman, 80, to a bank teller and withdrawing money from his account in Ashtabula, Ohio, on the 4th. of March.

“The bank had previously allowed it, as long as they were accompanied by him,” Stell told the star beacon.

Both women have been charged with robbery and gross abuse of a corpse, both of which are felonies.

But this is not his first encounter with the law.

Feralo had previously been convicted of reckless assault, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal trespass, driving under the influence, robbery and attempted drug possession.

Casbohm has also been convicted of robbery, prostitution, burglary, receiving stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and attempted drug abuse in the past.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of Layman’s death. If convicted, both women could face up to a year in prison on each count, according to prosecutors.
