Tummaville crash: Teenage driver dies and passenger, 17, miraculously escapes with minor injuries after ute crashes into tree and bursts into flames

A teenage driver has died after his pickup truck crashed into a tree and caught fire.

The 18-year-old’s Toyota was heading east on Owens Scrub Road towards Tummaville, near Toowoomba, Queensland, when it went out of control. He died at the scene.

A 17-year-old passenger miraculously escaped with minor injuries.
