“We are beyond blessed,” Angie said. “He’s able to play, talk to us, laugh and do all those things that we didn’t know would happen again.” Meanwhile, Gabe is back playing with his favorite trains and his pup, wrapped comfortably in a Brewers/Packers blanket.
The Mier family expressed their deep gratitude for the great support they have received from the community. “The people who helped us, prayed for us and were there for us, we are so blessed,” Angie said.
A fundraising page has been created to help the family cover the costs of the accident, including the cost of the air ambulance trip. Meanwhile, the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office continues its investigation into the cause of the crash.
Gabe’s road to recovery has been long and challenging, but his family remains hopeful and grateful for the strength he has shown during this ordeal.
