During the pandemic, Toyah Willcox danced in tight tops in her kitchen singing songs.
And sometimes her weekly lockdown lunch turned a little risque when she went braless.
But now the singer, 66, says her intense Strictly training regime has caused her breasts to shrink – and her husband Robert Fripp, 78, couldn’t be more upset about it.
Toyah, who is paired with Neil Jones, 42, for this year’s series, also revealed she has lost half a stone as she struggles to eat enough to offset the calories she burns.
She told The Mail on Sunday: “I just can’t eat enough to keep the weight off.”

He added: ‘Robert is very upset about the disappearance of my upper half. It has completely disappeared. I’m flat chested but I feel great.’
Toyah has been married to musician Fripp since 1986 and is the oldest contestant taking part in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing competition and this week she danced the jive to Ike and Tina Turner’s Nutbush City Limits.
She says he joined in on the Strictly fun with her and Neil, who visited her house.
But he admits that his busy schedule means he struggles to find time to put food on the table, so now he has to prepare it himself.
She said: “He loves being part of it, he’s fallen in love with the show.” “He cooks for himself, which is a huge accomplishment in 38 years of marriage.”
There are only six female contestants on this year’s Strictly compared to nine men due to the scandal that has engulfed the show following allegations from Amanda Abbington that Giovanni Pernice bullied her in training, as well as Graziano Di Prima kicking his partner Zara McDermott.
Toyah admits that the allegations made her think more deeply about what her experience on the show would be like.
When asked if recent allegations of “serious misconduct” surrounding the show had made her think twice about signing up, the It’s A Mystery singer said: “It made me take what has happened very seriously.”

‘What has happened in the last year is because this show is one hundred percent committed to dance.’
‘And you have to go beyond your personal comfort zone. And that has always been very, very obvious.”
“And I know what’s been going on this year, I’ve been thinking, well, can I push myself beyond my own limitations?”
And he concluded: ‘And for me, it’s now or never. It’s that simple. “That’s what made me commit to the program.”
Strictly’s 20th anniversary series has become somewhat tainted after the BBC show became embroiled in scandal in a year plagued by controversy.
And the BBC did not address the scandal during the launch episode even though the results of the misconduct investigation are still pending.
It all started last October when actress Amanda, 50, unexpectedly left the show before claiming that her partner Giovanni, 33, was abusing her.
The Sherlock actress has made a series of accusations about Giovanni’s teaching methods, calling his behavior ‘unnecessary, abusive, cruel and mean’. He strongly denies all claims.
Giovanni was suspended pending a BBC investigation into allegations made by Amanda and two other former celebrity associates.
With the report into his misconduct due any day now, Amanda has reportedly been left deeply disappointed in BBC bosses fearing they are “protecting” the dancer amid the bullying investigation.

After Giovanni, the show was hit by a new wave of scandal when Graziano Di Prima was sacked in July for ‘kicking’ his partner, Love Island star Zara McDermott (both pictured in 2023).
There have been high-level meetings between BBC bosses as they discuss how to present their findings, as they fear the imminent possibility of legal action from Amanda or Giovanni if either of them are disappointed by the result.
After Giovanni, the show was hit by a fresh wave of scandal when Graziano was sacked in July for ‘kicking’ his fellow Love Island star Zara.
Zara explained that she did not report the incidents at the time because she was “afraid” of violent reactions.
YoInstead, it was the junior production staff who came forward to share what they had witnessed in the investigation into the professional dancer. Juan was happening.
Zara told her followers that while much of her time on Strictly “was everything I could have dreamed of”, inside the training room with Graziano there were “particular incidents that are incredibly distressing”.
