Today, fans of the show were treated once again this Halloween as the beloved hosts dazzled in a series of incredible Halloween costumes.

On Thursday’s morning show, people like Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager transformed into Jack and Rose from Titanic.

Meanwhile, Savannah Guthrie gave the perfect nod to one of the most famous lawyers in cinema, the iconic Legally Blonde character, Elle Woods.

However, the biggest thrill came when Dylan Dreyer and a fellow presenter dressed up as characters from Tim Burton’s 1988 classic, Beetlejuice.

Like the movie, Dylan as Lydia Deetz (originally played by Winona Ryder) summoned the mischievous demon from beyond by saying his name three times ‘Beetlejuice! Beetle juice! Beetle juice!

Instead of Michael Keaton appearing as the character, it was Al Roker who came to the screen with an incredible impression of everyone’s favorite demon.

The couple then playfully recreated the memorable dance scene with Harry Belafonte’s hit song, Banana Boat (Day-O), playing in the background.

Thanks to the movie, the song became one of the popular songs during the Halloween period.

Viewers were immediately delighted with the sight, as one wrote on X, formerly Twitter: ‘Amazing. Absolutely amazing.’

‘Good job guys!!’ another commented on Instagram, while one user added: ‘This is fantastic (laughing emoji)’

Costume designer Staci Greenbaum told Today that Al’s Beetlejuice costume required some work to get right, including aging the pinstripe fabric used to make his iconic suit.

She explained, “(We had to) find the right weight that would be right for a suit, then age it and distress it so it made sense with the makeup and the hair because it’s dead, it’s moldy.”

The designer added that Al’s Beetlejuice look even required a trip to the craft store to pick up moss to help embellish his suit.

Just like in the film, Dylan as Lydia Deetz (originally played by Winona Ryder) summoned the mischievous demon.
