Dozens of Australians have admitted to having a “disgusting” toilet habit that many have branded “disgusting”.
A debate about showering arose on Reddit: many admit that they only shower in the morning before work and not at night.
‘As an East Asian immigrant here, I ALWAYS shower at night before going to bed. It’s easier to fall asleep with a clean body and it’s also more comfortable to have sex,” said one bewildered Redditor.
“I was told that Australians prefer to shower in the morning after getting up. If that’s true, will you shower again at night?”
Several shared their reasons for showering before work, mainly to get rid of night sweats and wanting to feel fresh.

“I shower in the morning to go to work and sometimes at night like I feel dirty I go out or have been to the gym,” one wrote.
‘I get quite a few night sweats, so I shower in the morning. I’ll also take a second shower in the afternoon after work, or if I feel like I need it,” said another.
‘I shower in the morning and sometimes after I get home from work. In my house we split it 50/50 between the morning and night rains because otherwise it would be impossible for everyone to go out in the morning,” added a third.
Another said he was surprised by the number of people who came to work without showering first.
‘Helen is unwell and getting worse throughout the day. “Horrible in an indoor office environment,” they wrote.

For me they have always been nocturnal, but in general I am not a morning person. “Seems like the best way to unwind at the end of the day, de-stress and then get cozy and relax before bed,” wrote a third.
