Australia’s top TV stars swapped traditional formalwear for lace, leather and understated separates as they swept the board at the Logie Awards in Sydney on Sunday afternoon.

Despite a strict “black tie” dress code, the stars did not hold back from showing off their incredible figures in a dazzling display of gemstones, thigh-high slits, cut-out corsets and plunging necklines.

The bold carpet is a reflection of changing attitudes towards “stuffy” dress codes in recent times, with a similar trend seen during the spring racing carnival, sports medal events and the Arias.

Hosted by the Star, this year marks the second year The Logies have returned to Sydney after a lengthy stint in Melbourne, followed by The Gold Coast.

The awards will be hosted by Sam Pang for the second time and will be broadcast live on Channel Seven at 7pm in the ACT, New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Tasmania and at 6.30pm in the Northern Territory and South Australia.

Those in Western Australia can tune in at 6pm
