The background of Donald Trump’s cell phone is an image of himself.
The big reveal came via online sleuths who investigated two separate images shared on social media of the former president and his iPhone on the lock screen.
The background image of the former president is from July 19, 2019 when he was still in office.
The Getty image taken by photographer Chip Somodevilla shows Trump looking and pointing directly at the camera.
She was captured during an outing on the South Lawn of the White House as Trump traveled to New Jersey for a fundraising dinner at his golf club in Bedminster.

When zoomed in, it becomes clear that the image on the lock screen is Trump from July 19, 2019, when he was still in office.
An image posted by Aaron Steinberg, known as Steiny in the YouTube group Nelk Boys, shows Trump’s iPhone sitting face up on a table as he poses with the trio.
Trump signed Make America Great Again hats for the YouTube group as they joined him aboard Trump Force One to watch a video on the 2024 candidate’s plane.
Additionally, Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-Mo.) posted a photo with Trump on his Facebook page on Oct. 5 that also featured Trump’s cell phone wallpaper.
The senator, who is running for reelection, was traveling with the former president to Butler, Pennsylvania, for his return after the assassination attempt on his life in the same location just two and a half months earlier.
Schmitt is believed to be on Trump’s shortlist for Attorney General if he wins a second term.
The image that Trump uses as a background is from July 19, 2019, when he was leaving the White House to travel to his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.
Another image posted by Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-Mo.) on Oct. 5 also shows Trump’s lock screen, and while the background is harder to see, it is clearly the same image.
Zooming in on Trump’s phone on the table of his campaign plane, it’s clear that the former president has his background image on at least one of his mobile devices.
Some older videos and images are harder to discern, but now that the two clearer images have been released, it is obvious that the image in use is Trump’s 2019 photo.
A video of him playing golf in late 2023 clearly shows his phone screen with the aforementioned photo from his time in the Oval Office.
