Is this the terrifying moment ‘spirits’ apparently haunting a 1920s log cabin tried to communicate with paranormal investigators by setting off a tripwire?

Danielle, from Chaldon, Surrey, decided to move her young family back to the home where she grew up and which had significant sentimental value as it had been in the family for over 35 years.

But after returning, she remembered the spooky paranormal activity she apparently experienced growing up, and an increasingly worried Danielle turned to Help! My House is Haunted team of paranormal investigators Barri, Ian and Jayne for help.

The mother claimed her children were “petrified” after apparently experiencing some paranormal activity, including her four-year-old son “seeing an angry woman” in his toy room.

During Danielle’s episode of the show, the team claimed that their infrared cameras captured the ‘spirits’, who they said communicated with them using a flashing light on an EMF (electromagnetic field) trip wire.

Danielle said: ‘I want to enjoy living here but I feel like I can’t because of the activity in the house. When I lived here as a child, I felt like I was always being watched.

‘My sister had seen a spirit in what was her bedroom, she thought the lady was a nurse. She said he looked at her and then disappeared.

“I actually never experienced seeing a ghost until I came back recently,” Danielle claimed, before claiming that her “petrified” young son has already encountered a spirit inside the house.

‘I know my son has seen it, just as he described it to me. He said he had seen a lady in the toy room. I said, “Is he a happy ghost?” He said, “Oh, no mommy, she’s mad.”

‘This morning, my four-year-old son ran frantically down the hall toward my bedroom. He was hysterical and told me that there was a voice in his ear that had given a deep “gasp.” My children are petrified.

‘As a mother, I just want to protect my children. I try to ignore him and tell him “it’s your imagination”, “it’s a dream”, but I know that’s not the truth. I grew up in this house, I got married in the garden, I had my third child here.

“This house is my absolute life, but if it got even worse or continued, then we would have to consider moving.”

As investigators headed to the log cabin, psychic medium Ian wondered if his “corking headache” was somehow related to his arrival at the property.

Barri immediately noticed activity on the tripwire. ‘I just saw a flash on the tripwire! “It’s turning blue, that means there’s a spike in the electromagnetic fields,” Barri exclaimed.

‘I feel like there’s going to be some kind of twist in this investigation. I don’t think it’s going to be that simple. I don’t know if it’s significant, but I actually have this headache that makes me clog up.

“Maybe something has happened to someone’s head, or they’ve had a brain injury or something,” Ian mused.

Local historian Penny Griffith Morgan told Jayne that during the Second World War, a bomb destroyed a local hospital in Chaldon, where a young nurse called Pauline died trapped in the rubble.

“If that wasn’t bad enough, on top of her was the hot water tank and they were unable to rescue her before the hot water tank broke its couplings and killed her.”

“Wow, this feels really strange,” Ian said as he entered the cabin. ‘I feel like there is something under my feet. Either there is a link with the land and the house, or vice versa. There is this attraction, there is this magnet.

After meeting with Danielle and her mother Elaine to hear more about the paranormal activity they have been experiencing, the team decides to assess the situation for themselves by performing spiritual activators.

Upon investigation, they claim that there are three “spirits” present in the cabin. There was a masculine energy, which they believed to be that of a reverend, and two women, one of whom they believed to be Pauline and the other, the reverend’s wife, Audrey.

Together again with Danielle and Elaine, Jayne decided that the best method to understand more about the spirits’ motives was through the use of a spirit board.

‘Can you please come and talk to us?’ Danielle asked the spirits. “I have a feeling the reverend is here and doesn’t approve of what we’re doing,” Ian worried.

“There’s something heavy on my back, like pressure,” Danielle said, her hand on the spirit board next to Elaine.

“I wonder if the women are willing to talk, but I think they are being prevented from communicating this way because the planchette is now going towards ‘no,'” Jayne deduced from the reverend’s presence.

After closing the spirit board’s investigation, the team learned that they were going to have to try something different if they wanted to communicate with the female ‘spirits’ apparently present in the house, without the reverend intervening.

Through prayer, Ian said he passed the male spirit into the light, leaving it at rest. “It’s unusual to overlook someone so early in the investigation, but it’s the only way the women will be able to speak freely to us,” Jayne explained.

The team then headed to Danielle’s children’s toy room, as it was an area that had apparently seen high levels of spiritual activity in the past.

Using an ITC (instrumental transcommunication) app, Spirit Talker, the team finally makes a breakthrough and is apparently able to communicate with female spirits.

Jayne shed tears upon discovering that Audrey is apparently an “angel,” who was “just there to take care of Danielle’s children.”

“Our camera operator felt an icy force move through him,” Jayne explained. “When I was inside the door, I felt like someone was right behind me,” the camera operator explained.

Barri immediately noticed activity on the tripwire. ‘I just saw a flash on the tripwire! “It’s turning blue, that means there’s a spike in the electromagnetic fields,” Barri exclaimed.

To her surprise, Jayne’s spirit box told her to “watch” for the tripwire, as it continued to flash.

As they exit the hallway, continuing to scan the team’s SLS cameras, which can detect spirits as anomalies, Barri yelled at the camera crew, ‘Don’t move! There’s a figure at the door right behind you! There are two forms of spirits!’
