Teri Hatcher was unable to fully enjoy being a Bond girl.
That’s because she was pregnant while filming Tomorrow Never Dies. The 59-year-old actress starred in the film alongside Pierce Brosnan in 1997.
But Teri admitted she was more focused on her personal life during the two weeks of filming because she was expecting her first child with actor Jon Tenney.
And “being a mother” was “most important” on her mind.
She told the Guardian newspaperI step back with a lot of gratitude. Tomorrow Never Dies was a very small role, perfect because I was secretly nine weeks pregnant. It was only two weeks, a couple of scenes, and then I would be too pregnant to continue working.

“But the pregnancy leaked and was out of my control,” she added.
“I don’t think that can be done now. Women’s rights are much stronger. They are allowed to have privacy.”
She added of her time on the film: ‘Women are sensitive before the first trimester because they’re still wondering if everything is going to be okay.
‘I wanted to be in the film, but being a mother was the first thing on my mind, whereas another person might have thought, “Oh, I’m in this James Bond film. It’s great.”
Teri’s daughter, Emerson, was born in 1997.
And “being a mother” was uppermost in her mind. She told the Guardian newspaper: “I’m leaving with a lot of gratitude. The beauty is seen here on her hit show Desperate Housewives.
Her marriage to her daughter’s father did not last and they divorced in 2003.
The actress previously spoke out about co-parenting Emerson after their split, insisting the former couple did everything they could to keep the youngster’s life stable.
She told the Irish Examiner: ‘I never wanted Emerson to have parents in different homes, and I will always feel guilty that he has to go back and forth.
“But her dad and I worked really hard to make things as easy as possible for her, and I honestly think she’s doing just fine.”
