Taylor Swift returned to work on Monday after spending part of the weekend at Coachella with her boyfriend Travis Kelce.
The singer, 34, dressed in a sweater while sitting at a typewriter for a black and white video clip on social media.
“Hello Spotify, happy Tortured Poets Department album release week,” the artist said, teasing the Friday, April 19, release of her eleventh album.
She reminded her legions of fans to “make sure to pre-save the album and keep checking back for more updates from the Department.”
The Grammy winner has been offering small hints about the material on the upcoming LP.
Taylor Swift, 34, took to social media to remind her fans that she will release her 11th studio album on Friday.
On Sunday, the superstar posted a snap of the album cover and wrote, “I wish I could forget how we almost had it all.”
On April 8, as millions across North America enjoyed the solar eclipse, the singer took the opportunity to write, “Crowd going crazy at your fingertips/Half moonlight, full eclipse.”
On March 3 he wrote, “Old habits die screaming…” and revealed an exclusive bonus track, The Black Dog, which was available on his website.
An accompanying graphic of Swift playing her guitar read “Old habits die hard.”
Another bonus issue, The Albatross, was announced on February 23 with a photo reading “Can I Cry?”
On February 16, he shared news about a single called The Bolter, with a graphic reading: “You can’t talk to me about sadness.”
Swift first announced the album at the 2024 Grammys, where she won awards for Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year.

The expert songwriter has been offering little hints about what’s on The Dead Poets Department, offering lines of lyrics and revealing bonus tracks for purchase in various formats when the album drops on April 19.
She attended the ceremonies wearing a white dress with black gloves, matching the aesthetic of the album.
At a concert in Australia, she told the audience that her new job was “a lifesaver” for her.
“It kind of reminded me why writing songs is something that really helps me in life,” he explained.
“I’ve never had an album where I’ve needed songwriting more than on Tortured Poets,” he said.
Swift and her team have struck deals with major streaming services for pre-orders so fans can have access to new music the moment it drops. The album will also be available on clear vinyl exclusively at Target.
