A teacher has been charged with alleged historical sexual offences.
NSW Police officers arrested a 28-year-old high school teacher at Auburn Police Station in Sydney’s west at around 12.30pm on Tuesday.
Detectives from Campbelltown City Police Area Command began investigating the man in July 2023 following reports of his alleged actions while working as a high school teacher in Sydney’s south-west in 2020 and 2021.
He was charged with multiple child sex crimes, including three against an alleged victim who was under his authority.
The man was refused bail and is due to appear at Burwood Local Court on Wednesday.
