She has been the unexpected face of the Paris 2024 Olympics, appearing in several events including the equestrian event following her iconic turn holding the torch.
And Snoop Dogg was back in action on Saturday, wearing a stylish patriotic Olympic-themed ensemble as he took in the men’s basketball quarterfinal game.
The 52-year-old rapper was joined by WNBA star A’ja Wilson as they sat courtside to watch the United States take on Brazil in the thrilling match at the Bercy Arena in Paris.
Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., appeared to be thoroughly enjoying the game, and was seen clapping and cheering in support of the players.
His support also extended to his attire, with his white shirt and shorts adorned with American flags as well as the Olympic rings emblem.

To complete his look, Snoop added red USA socks, a black flat cap, dark sunglasses and a diamond-encrusted gold chain featuring the Eiffel Tower.
Meanwhile, A’ja, 28, showed off her long legs in white Ralph Lauren shorts and a matching polo shirt.
Snoop’s appearance comes after he borrowed a presidential tradition in the US when he decided to make a surprise phone call to the women who won medals in the 200-meter track final at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
“Good job, girls! Good job!” the 52-year-old hip-hop legend can be heard telling the three women in a Facebook Reel shared on the official USA Track and Field account.
The video featured Gabby Thomas, who had just won gold for Team USA, Julien Alfred, who made St. Lucia proud by taking silver, and Brittany Brown, the bronze winner who also represented Team USA.
Excited about her accomplishments in the games and being able to speak with the Doggystyle star, Brown made a point to let the superstar rapper know that she is from Pomona, California, which is just 45 miles northeast of her hometown of Long Beach, California.
“Snoop Dogg, I know you got a team in Pomona, California. I’m from Pomona. I just wanna let you know I’m from Pomona. I mean, Pomona,” Brown told the Gin And Juice star.
To which Snoop quickly responded: “You know that, for sure. I’m proud of you all today.”

Snoop, who served as NBC’s special ambassador during the marquee sporting event, has been a fixture at every Olympics with his commentary and appearances both solo and with Martha Stewart, 83.
Among their first projects together, the dynamic duo of Snoop and Martha co-hosted Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party for VH1 in the fall of 2016.
Before heading to the Olympics, Snoop had been hard at work on his upcoming 12th studio album, Missionary.
The rapper began speaking publicly about working on new music on his social media accounts in late 2022.
The album is being produced by longtime collaborator Dr. Dre, who helped launch Snoop’s career with the single Deep Cover and produced his debut studio album, Doggystyle (1993).
During an appearance on Stephen A. Smith’s podcast Know Mercy, Snoop told fans that he’ll “be ready in November.”
Missionary has been described as a return to the sound of the rapper’s early albums, released in the early to mid-1990s.
