Brad Pitt’s daughter Shiloh hired and paid for her own attorney when she filed to have Pitt’s name removed on her 18th birthday.
Family sources confirm that Shiloh, who turned 18 on May 27, was in the driver’s seat when it came to dropping ‘Pitt’ from her last name ‘Jolie Pitt.’
A source close to the matter said: “Shiloh hired her own lawyer and paid for it herself, so Angie doesn’t know and can’t speak out about it.”
“But if you’re asking if this is related to Shiloh’s history of abuse or violation of victims’ rights, yes, that’s part of it.”

Paperwork to change Shiloh’s name was filed Monday when he turned 18, the first opportunity he had to do so independently.
The revelation that Shiloh paid herself suggests that the ugly feud between former couple Brad Pitt, 60, and Angelina Jolie, 48, may still continue in the form of legal action by their once six children. the couple shared.
