Saturday Night Takeaway viewers were left hysterical when they noticed Anne Hegerty’s reaction when Jedward came on stage with her.
The quiz legend, 65, joined the set of the ITV1 variety show on Saturday night dressed as a burger and had to go toe-to-toe in a battle with her Chase co-star Shaun Wallace as part of the sketch.
The couple had been joined by a host of other famous faces for their appearance on Ant and Dec’s show, but didn’t seem thrilled when singing twins John and Edward Grimes, 32, appeared at the end of the act as a pair of locusts.
One viewer wrote on X: ‘Anne Hegerty was not impressed with Jedward. @antanddec @itvtakeaway #SábadoNocheTakeaway’
Another said: ‘Anne wasn’t happy!’

The trio appeared on Ant and Dec’s weekly show.

But in fact, the former I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! The star was quick to speak out after seeing some of the viral tweets.
Anne described the twins as “lovely” and responded to accusations that she was unhappy to see them.
She said: ‘Lovely guys. I will not hear a word against them.
In a second tweet, he said: “We were joking around and I was channeling The Governess.” It is evident that the press takes me much more seriously than I take myself.
He later added: ‘The attractive thing is that they don’t take themselves seriously at all. I had a great time tonight.’
However, another fan seemed unimpressed and noted that the show was going “downhill” with the sudden appearance of the former X Factor stars.

Viewers thought Anne was “unimpressed” by the twins’ sudden appearance, but she turned to X to hit back.
Anne described the twins as “lovely” and responded to accusations that she was unhappy to see them.
They wrote: “It’s clear to me that #SaturdayNightTakeaway is going downhill when Jedward starts appearing on the show.”
During the latest episode, hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly surprised audience members by attending a live broadcast from their homes, where a celebrity guest had to change items in their room.
The guest then had to guess what was different in their room to try to win a cash prize.
But when Ant and Dec went to speak to a guest in the audience, the person was taken aback and appeared to exclaim: ‘Oh f***! Oh Jesus!’
Later on the late night show, Dec apologized for the mistake, saying: “Just a small apology. If you heard any language during that, we’re really sorry.”
