Salma Hayek channeled one of her most famous roles while taking the stage at Madonna’s Celebration Tour on Friday.
The 57-year-old actress dressed up as famous Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, whom she played in 2002’s Frida, during the Material Girl pit stop in Mexico City.
The From Dusk Til Dawn star joined Madonna for the Vogue segment of the concert, where the singer is accompanied by a celebrity guest who helps judge the dancers and models as they strut down the runway.
Salma documented the experience in it. instagramsharing clips and photographs of his time on stage with the pop superstar.
“Thank you so much @madonna for allowing me to be part of your iconic celebration tour,” the actress wrote. ‘This unforgettable night goes in my bag of precious treasures.’

The biographical drama film Frida portrayed the life of the Mexican artist Kahlo.
The film received critical acclaim and earned six Oscar nominations in 2003, including nominations for Best Actress for Salma Hayek’s portrayal of Kahlo and Best Original Score.
Salma’s guest appearance comes after Cardi B joined forces with Madonna on stage in Los Angeles, while Pamela Anderson made a surprise appearance at one of the singer’s shows in Canada.
During the London concert, fashion designer McCartney was seated next to Madonna, while Bob the Drag Queen added color commentary to the runway.
In the past, artists such as FKA twigs, DJ Diplo, Donatella Versace and Jean Paul Gaultier have joined the Vogue portion of the tour.
Versace and Gaultier even participated in the design of some of the incredible outfits that Madonna wears on stage for the Celebration tour.
The Celebration Tour not only pays tribute to her extensive catalog of hit songs, but Madonna also uses the platform to chronicle her journey from arriving in New York City in 1978 to becoming a global pop icon.
Other highlights of the performance involve the singer gracing the stage alongside her children, including Lourdes León, David Banda and James.
The program also features a moving tribute to the millions of people who lost their lives to AIDS-related complications.
During her stop in Amsterdam, she told the crowd: “When I first came to New York, I was lucky enough to meet and become friends with so many incredible artists… and then one day, people started getting sick and no one could understand what was happening.
“Thank you so much @madonna for allowing me to be part of your iconic celebration tour,” the actress wrote. ‘This unforgettable night goes in my bag of precious treasures’

Throughout her notable career, Madonna has released 14 studio albums, the latest of which, Madame X, debuted in 2019.
The actress holds the record for being the best-selling female recording artist of all time, with global sales exceeding 300 million records.
The celebration tour will conclude in April 2024 in Mexico City.
