Royal security services are on high alert this weekend to protect King Charles and Queen Camilla from an Australian claiming to be their secret son.
British-born Simon Charles Dorante-Day, 58, is convinced it is his illegitimate son who was put up for adoption shortly after birth and taken in by Royal Palace staff.
He has been demanding a DNA test to prove his claim for years, but has now been placed on a security watch list after being warned he could take matters into his own hands.
When Charles and Camilla’s tour was announced, Dorante-Day hinted at a plan to confront the royal couple after they arrive in Sydney on Friday night.
‘What am I going to do this time?’ Mr. Dorante-Day said in May.
‘Well, I would be a very foolish person if I didn’t take action when he enters the same jurisdiction as me.
“But I think I would be even more foolish if I revealed my hand prematurely.”
Now, personal protection experts have confirmed that the Australian will be closely monitored by royal bodyguards while the King and Queen are in the country.

“There are probably around 20 names already on that watch list,” a safeguarding expert, who cannot be named for security reasons, told Daily Mail Australia.
And anyone who makes noise publicly will undoubtedly be of great interest.
“Background searches will have already been carried out on any names they have and it is standard to carry out psychological evaluations based on criminal convictions and social media.”
Dorante-Day was adopted when he was about eight months old, in August 1966, in Portsmouth, on the south coast of England, when Camilla would have been 18 and Charles 17.
The father of nine maintains that his adoptive grandmother, who worked for the Queen, helped organize the move and his new life as a royal outcast.

“They take everything into account, including any grudge the person may have towards them, and will also be on the lookout for any agitated behavior.”
