Ricki-Lee Coulter is recovering after undergoing major surgery this week.
The 38-year-old Australian singer and broadcaster updated her fans on her condition with a series of posts shared on her social media.
In a touching message to fans, Ricki-Lee revealed that she had undergone treatment for endometriosis after suffering from the painful condition for over a decade.
Endometriosis is a disease in which cells similar to the lining of the uterus grow outside the uterus, often in the ovaries, fallopian tubes, bladder, or intestines.
The Nova Radio host included selfies in her publication in which you can see the brave singer smiling and giving her fans a ‘thumbs up’.

The 38-year-old Australian singer and broadcaster updated her fans on her condition with a series of posts shared on her social media.
Speaking at length, Ricki-Lee said the recent procedure came after suffering from chronic pain.
“Anyone with endometriosis knows that it takes a long time to get to the point where you can operate and get any kind of diagnosis, and that you have to stand up for yourself and keep pushing for answers,” she said.
Ricki-Lee added that she finally underwent the surgery after dealing with pain every day and her agony became unbearable.
He said it took him many years to consult specialists before he understood his condition.
After receiving a diagnosis confirming it was endometriosis, she said “the only option left was surgery.”
She continued: “So this week I had a laparoscopy and excision surgery, and they removed all the endometriosis they found, and I can only hope that’s the end of the pain.”
Ricki-Lee ended her message by telling fans that she left the hospital and returned to her husband Richard Harrison.
‘Now I am at home recovering and feeling well. ‘Rich is taking good care of me,’ she said adding several kisses.
