The discovery of a young woman’s body in a suburban home has left police baffled.
Emergency services were called to a Redwood Park address in northeast Adelaide just before 8am on Thursday after reports a woman had been found unconscious.
The woman, 26, could not be revived at the scene, despite the desperate efforts of emergency services.
A crime scene was established and a section of Somerset Avenue was cordoned off for much of the day.

A runner came forward to reveal that he is the person seen in the images.
Police from the Northern District, Major Crimes detectives, crime scene investigators and forensic agents attended the scene.
Detectives also interviewed residents as they tried to determine how the woman died.
“Investigators will conduct a thorough investigation into the cause and circumstances of his death,” a police statement said.
The death has shocked residents of a normally quiet neighborhood.
Matthew Thomson was shocked to see police arriving at the property hours after the ambulances left.
“We saw about three ambulances at 8.10 in the morning when I was getting ready to take my daughter to school,” he said. The advertiser.
“It was creepy to see the ambulances here, but at the same time I didn’t think too much about it.”
“Then the police knocked on our door between noon and one in the afternoon.”
Another resident claimed police told her it was a drug-related death.
“The police told me that it was a rather young woman who died in the house and that there were two other people with her,” he said.
“We were also questioned about a black car that was driving down the street last night.”
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
Investigations continue into the “sudden” and “unexplained” death in a usually quiet suburb.
