Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham trolled Micah Richards over an apparent bet they had on the Spanish giant’s Champions League match against Manchester City.
Richards’ former team lost to Bellingham and Los Blancos on penalties on Wednesday after drawing 4-4 on aggregate.
After the game, the 20-year-old kept the CBS football analyst on his side of the bet.
“He’s still supposed to wear the Madrid shirt after the little bet we made, so I’m disappointed not to see him,” Bellingham told Anita Nneka Jones. “Hopefully, we’ll see him in the semi-final.”
Bellingham, who has four goals in the Champions League and 16 in total for Real Madrid this season, expressed the importance of their victory over City as they prepare to face Bayern Munich in the semi-finals.

‘Massive game [and] Huge result to use at the end,” Bellingham shared. ‘Take it to penalties and do the job there. We did what it took to win. Everyone had them as favorites, but we know what we’re capable of and we showed it tonight.’
Real Madrid’s next rival, Bayern Munich, beat Arsenal 1-0 in the second leg after a 2-2 draw in the first.
However, former striker and club legend Thierry Henry suggested the heartbreaking defeat could be “a good thing” for the Premier League contenders.
“When we play three games a week, we struggle,” Henry said. “So maybe it could be a good thing for us in the Premier League. But like I said, we are equipped to play every three days.”

The Frenchman also highlighted how both teams tried not to lose the game more than to win it.
“You could see that both teams, and I mentioned this so many times, didn’t want to lose the game,” Henry said. “They weren’t really willing to do it.”
After both lost against their continental counterparts, England’s two best teams can focus on the race to win the Premier League. After 32 games into the season, City have a two-point lead over Arsenal and Liverpool with 73 points.
While Real Madrid and Bayern Munich prepare to play their first leg on April 30, Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint Germain will fight on the other side for a place in the UCL final in London.
