Heather Dubrow swore on her children’s lives that she didn’t call the paparazzi for self-promotion while confronting Katie Ginella on Thursday’s episode of The Real Housewives Of Orange County.
The season eight episode titled “Not My Cup of Tee” featured franchise newcomer Katie, 40, taking on Heather, 55, a Bravo veteran who first appeared on RHOC in season seven in 2012.
Earlier in the episode, Katie told Emily Simpson, 48, that she had proof that Heather regularly contacts the paparazzi, which Heather has vehemently denied in the past.
“A friend of mine handles all the paparazzi photos. She called my friend and said, ‘I’m going to be here. ‘ And with all the other stuff that’s been going on, I’m wondering, are you telling the truth? Are you not telling the truth?” Katie said.
Tamra Judge, 56, had previously accused Heather of staging photos at Disneyland with her husband Terry and was thrilled to hear Katie’s dive bar story about Heather.

Katie organized a golf event that Emily won, but the real action involved Heather and Katie.
Tamra forced the issue by telling Heather about Katie’s renewed accusations against the paparazzi.
“We were out the other night. Katie had said some things about you that were a little concerning. She says you call the paparazzi and tell them where you are all the time. And she has proof of that,” Tamra said.
“Okay. Bring the proof,” Heather said, visibly shaken.
Katie asked to speak to Heather privately and they were given some space.
“I wanted to talk because I feel like there’s something weird between you and me,” Katie said.
“Well, we didn’t have any weird issues, except all I know is that you’re talking about me to all my friends and saying I’m calling the paparazzi, and you have all this evidence, and I’m talking about you to people. And there’s a lot of falsehoods here,” Heather said.
Katie gave her perspective and repeated a story about feeling slighted by Heather at Sutton Stracke’s Christmas party.
“I wanted to talk because I feel like there’s something weird between you and me,” Katie said.
Katie, during an outing to a seedy bar, told the women her story about Heather and the paparazzi.

“You know, it started with Sutton’s Christmas party. Gina (Kirschenheiter) had told me that she had called you and Terry. You guys, sort of, checked Matt’s and my Instagram. And then we saw you at Sutton’s Christmas party. You turned around and looked at Matt and me. And then you turned back around,” Katie said.
“Oh my god. Did you expect me to see you in line after looking at your Instagram and recognize you? I have no recollection of that,” Heather said in her defense.
Katie then brought up the subject of paparazzi and Heather asked to see proof.
“I have a screenshot of the text,” Katie said.
“I’ll tell you something. I’ve never called a paparazzi in my life,” Heather said, visibly angry.
She again denied alerting the paparazzi and Katie wondered if her friend lied.
“For the life of my children, I have never called a paparazzi,” Heather said dramatically.
The other women heard and were shocked to see Heather so upset.
“I have a screenshot of the text,” Katie said.

“This is exactly what I didn’t want to happen. And I feel like, right now, I should just duck and cover,” Gina said.
Heather questioned the validity of Katie’s test before accusing her of being the one digging up information.
“When you get into a group of friends… The really cool thing would be to make friends and just try to get to know people and understand them for who they are,” Heather said.
She also accused Katie of “making a mountain out of a molehill.”

The drama, while intense for Heather and Katie, was a source of entertainment for the others who had previously attempted to challenge Heather.
“I think we’ll be going to Katie’s funeral very soon,” Tamra joked.
The episode also featured an appearance by former RHOC main cast member Vicki Gunvalson, 62, who caught up with Shannon Beador, 60.
They were both disappointed that Tamra left their show Tres Amigas.
Shannon also revealed that her ex-boyfriend John Janssen was asking her for money.
“I received a letter from an attorney representing John Janssen and I owe him $75,000,” Shannon said.
Vicki was shocked and reminded Shannon of everything she did to support him.
The episode also showed Emily organizing a girls’ night for Gina at a seedy bar.

Katie at the bar revealed that she has information about Heather supposedly calling the paparazzi to herself.
“There was some bad press around Heather and Terry. I sent it to my friend who is in charge of all these paparazzi photographers. I asked him if it was true. Did he hire photographers to come and take his picture? He said yes,” Katie said.
Tamra admitted to feeling “a little vindicated” after the Disneyland incident involving Heather and raised her arms victoriously at the bar.
The Real Housewives of Orange County will return next week to Bravo.
