Just when it seemed like the real estate market couldn’t get any worse, a real estate agent put up for sale a house that he admitted is the worst presented he’s ever shown.

The house, located at 19 Ryland Rd, Kelmscott, in Perth’s south-east, was described as “dirty” by O’Neil Real Estate residential sales consultant Ash Swarts.

Swarts told potential buyers they just had to take a look at the Perth property, because it couldn’t get any crazier.

‘Why is this even on the market? The current owners just left,” she said in the announcement.

“Everything you see here is included in the sale, so you better be prepared to get your hands dirty because you’re definitely going to get them dirty here.”

The ‘Kelmscott Enigma’ can be seen online with photographs showing room after room trashed with old junk and furniture left there by the current owners.

“This is pretty horrible,” Mr. Swarts admitted in the online announcement.

“Don’t even look at what’s there in the bathroom.”

The home is advertised on the agent’s website as a fixer-upper, but “it’s more of an extreme makeover waiting to happen.”

“Unfortunately, this newer home veered off Damage Lane, offering a unique combination of opportunities and adventures.”

The four-bedroom home features a ground ceiling that was “more on the ground than overhead” and was “perfect for those who appreciated an interior view of the sky.”

The bathrooms come complete with surprise features, including a hookah that was thoughtfully “left behind for your, um, recreational enjoyment,” while the living room included a treasure trove of old furniture that would be perfect for lighting the fireplace.

The house was built in 1977 and is currently for sale in South East Perth for less than $500,000.

“Viewing is highly recommended,” the agent said.

‘Bring your flashlight, your sense of humor and maybe a protective suit. ‘
