The late Ray Liotta’s daughter, Karsen, 25, attended the Los Angeles premiere of his final film, 1992, in his place on Tuesday.
Ray died in his sleep due to acute heart failure and pulmonary edema at the age of 67 in May 2022 while in the Dominican Republic filming the movie Dangerous Waters.
Karsen gave a loving speech in Ray’s memory last year when he was posthumously awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
She paid tribute to the Goodfellas star once again this week, appearing on the red carpet in honor of his latest film, 1992, which opens Friday.
Featuring a cast that includes Tyrese Gibson and Scott Eastwood, the film is set during the infamous Los Angeles riots of April and May 1992.

Karsen, who followed in her father’s footsteps into the acting profession, cut an elegant figure as she made her appearance at the screening of the film.
She modeled a trendy black blazer-style dress, paired with a simple pair of matching heels and accessorized with a black clutch.
Ray became an indelible part of Hollywood history by portraying real-life mobster Henry Hill in Martin Scorsese’s fast-paced 1990 crime drama Goodfellas.
His later films include the 2012 biopic The Iceman, directed by Israeli filmmaker Ariel Vromen, whom he met in 1992.
In May 2022, it was shockingly announced that Ray had died in his sleep at a hotel in the Dominican Republic, where he was working on the film Dangerous Waters.
A year later it was finally learned that he died of pulmonary edema (i.e. fluid in the lungs) as well as acute heart failure.
The Shades Of Blue star was also suffering from atherosclerosis, a narrowing of his arteries, at the time of his death.
Three of his films were released posthumously the year after his death (Dangerous Waters, Cocaine Bear and Fool’s Paradise) before 1992 finally opens this week.

In February 2023, nine months after his death, Ray received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and received loving tributes from both Karsen and Jacy Nittolo, 49, who had been his fiancée at the end of his life.
“I’m so excited to accept this honor on behalf of my father,” Karsen said in her speech. “I couldn’t be more proud of him. He was a one-of-a-kind actor and the best friend, brother and father anyone could have asked for. I got lucky with you.”
She continued poignantly: “If you have a Ray in your life, you are lucky. I love you so much. Thank you for your work and the mark you left on me and on all those who love you. Everyone deserves a Ray in their life.”
This January, Karsen and Jacy walked the Emmy red carpet together in honor of Ray, who was posthumously nominated for the miniseries Black Bird.
Ray shared Karsen with his ex-wife Michelle Grace, to whom he was married from 1997 until their amicable divorce in 2004.
