Rap artist TKO (pictured) has come under scrutiny from South Australian police over potentially dangerous stunts in his latest film clip.

An aspiring rapper has come under fire after posting a music video that showed vehicles doing wheelies and burning tires.

Amateur rap artist TKO, real name Tommy Owens, this week released a new clip on Youtube for his latest song TKO Eldorado, which was filmed on a street in Seaford, southwest of Adelaide.

The music video has since attracted the attention of South Australian Police and local councils as it captured motorcyclists doing wheelies and motorists doing burnouts of various sports cars.

In the clip, which appears to have been filmed in an industrial area, the artist is seen rapping on the road while at least three motorcycles took turns doing wheelies and burnouts.

A motorcyclist with L plates apparently set his tyre on fire at an intersection as smoke billowed from his rear wheel.

Some of the wheelies were filmed from inside a car that was driving alongside the motorcycles.

At the beginning of the clip, visibility on the road is low due to smoke from cars doing donuts.

A disclaimer at the beginning of the video states that all stunts were performed by professionals and that it was filmed on a closed road.

But the City of Onkaparinga told Seven News they never received any request to close the road or apply for the required filming permit.

South Australia Police have also referred the matter to its Traffic Support Division for further investigation into possible traffic offences.

“Police will follow up on any sightings depicting dangerous or criminal acts and take action where necessary,” police said.

South African Police Commissioner Grant Stevens said the video showed “reckless” acts.

“Even though it’s on a closed road, it’s reckless behaviour that can cause harm to people and we don’t encourage that activity,” he told NewsCorp.

The rapper took to social media on Thursday to respond to the reports.

“I don’t know if anyone has seen me on the news, but what a load of bullshit,” TKO said.

‘I’m supposedly the leader of a group of bikers… fucking idiots… all I can say is to suck them from behind.’

Daily Mail Australia has contacted TKO and South Australia Police for further comment.

The film clip has attracted 22,000 views in just two days.

The popular rapper has been candid about his past and even appeared on Network 7’s Sunday Night with Melissa Doyle, speaking about his tough childhood and how it turned his life around.
