Footage has emerged showing Everton’s squad being pelted with abuse by angry fans following the club’s dismal 4-0 defeat to Tottenham on Saturday.
The Toffees have had a dismal start to the Premier League season after being beaten 3-0 at home in the opening round by Brighton.
Sean Dyche’s side were dismantled by Tottenham on Saturday, with a Son Heung-min double and goals from Yves Bissouma and Cristian Romero condemning Everton to another heavy defeat.
Everton sit bottom of the Premier League following heavy defeats, suggesting the club could face another season battling relegation.

The players were confronted by angry fans as they boarded their train at Euston station.

Footage showed fans shouting abuse at Everton players, including England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
Pickford had been responsible for Tottenham’s second goal on Saturday after Son won possession from him and the South Korean slotted the ball into an empty net.
Defender Mason Holgate and striker Neal Maupay were among the players who were subjected to verbal abuse from fans as they boarded the train at Euston station.
Both Holgate and Maupay were unused substitutes in the defeat at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Maupay, who has made a name for himself for irritating opponents on the pitch, appeared to respond to supporters as he walked past.
The striker reacted to the images on social media, writing: “Imagine any other job where it was normal to receive abuse like this. Being in a train station shouting at men who are doing their best…”
Maupay, who has scored one goal in 32 appearances for the Toffees, has not played competitively for the club since last August after spending last season on loan at Brentford.

Everton had a torrid Saturday afternoon as the Toffees were thrashed by Tottenham.
Pickford lamented that Son had grabbed the ball from him in possession to score Tottenham’s second goal.
Everton are bottom of the Premier League table and could face another relegation battle.
Everton’s dismal start to the campaign had led bookmakers Paddy Power to bet on the Toffees’ relegation from the top flight just two weeks into the new season.
The Toffees lined up with a depleted squad on Saturday, which included debutant 19-year-old Roman Dixon at right-back.
Ashley Young has been suspended, while Jarrad Branthwaite is injured and James Tarkowski was a fitness doubt ahead of the match.
The crisis-hit club survived despite points deductions last season but has been unable to strengthen much over the summer as the ongoing takeover process drags on.
Dyche admitted the club were unlikely to have the financial resources to expand their squad before Friday’s transfer deadline but said he was not accepting another relegation battle.
“There is no acceptance of anything,” Dyche said on Saturday. “There is a reality to all the challenges in football, but that is not acceptance.

Everton will be back in action on Tuesday in front of their own fans at Goodison Park for a Carabao Cup second-round match against League Two side Doncaster Rovers.
The Toffees host Bournemouth on Saturday in their final Premier League game before the international break.
