Queen Máxima of the Netherlands stunned tonight in a multicolored midi dress while attending a concert to honor one of the country’s most esteemed conductors with her mother-in-law, Princess Beatrice.

Máxima and the former Dutch queen, who was succeeded by her eldest son King Willem-Alexander on April 30, 2013, visited the TivoliVredenburg music hall in Utrecht for the anniversary concert of conductor Ton Koopman, founder and director of the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra and Choir.

Argentina-born Máxima brought her unique star quality to the event, wearing a £535 ($695) multi-coloured dress from India-born, London-based brand Saloni.

She took off her black coat to reveal the silk creation with a high collar, polka dot print and ruffle details.

Photographed on four occasions between October 17, 2018 and October 21, 2024, the eye-catching dress is undoubtedly one of the Dutch royals’ favorite numbers.

Typically radiant, the mother-of-three paired her dress with black pointed-toe stilettos and carried a small black clutch.

Máxima wore her long blonde hair with a classic blow-dry and highlighted her complexion with a golden bronzer and a touch of berry lipstick. She opted for smoky eye makeup and lined her eyes with black kohl.

The Dutch queen accessorized her look with gold earrings and added two silver and gold bracelets.

Meanwhile, Máxima’s mother-in-law, Princess Beatrice, looked equally vibrant in a royal blue tunic made of sparkly thread, which she wore over a pair of black pants.

Beatrix, 86, who reigned for 33 years between 1980 and 2013, accessorized her ensemble with two gold necklaces, silver bracelets and a pair of turquoise earrings.

The earrings perfectly complemented the former queen’s robe, while her subtle blue eye makeup completed the look.

The two Dutch royals smiled as they posed for photos together and Máxima looked especially cheerful as she greeted director Ton Koopman, who was in Utrecht to celebrate.

October has been a busy month for Máxima and last Tuesday she showed that she has many strings attached to her as she had a pint in a bar while visiting a town in the Dutch province of South Holland.

The glamorous royal’s mix of tense expressions and wry smiles suggested that serving drinks to customers was far from an easy job.

Máxima was visiting Klaaswaal, part of the Hoeksche Waard municipality, when she decided to jump behind the bar and give the staff a break, pouring wine and pouring pints.

The purpose of their visit was to celebrate and promote the strong community life that exists in the town.

Máxima, typically elegant in an emerald green satin midi dress, also showed her competitive side and joined local residents to play a board game.

The Dutch queen smiled as she chatted with elderly men and women, some of whom were gathered around a pool table.

Early on October 15, Máxima was in Waalwijk, in the south of the Netherlands, to open Dushi House, a small-scale residential facility for children who can no longer live at home.

Greeting viewers with a big smile, Máxima wore an electric blue coat with a satin green dress underneath.

She paired her accessories with her ensemble and finished her look with a bright blue clutch and green suede stilettos.

The royal kept her makeup soft and natural with a dewy base, soft pink lips and a coat of mascara.

In addition to her wedding ring, Máxima wore a striking gold necklace with four different types of stones and thick gold earrings that perfectly complemented her outfit.

The royal greeted the crowd who had gathered outside before opening the new branch of the Dutch facility which offers a safe space for children “for whom a home is not obvious”.

According to its website, a Dushi House typically houses eight children aged between four and 18, with an in-house team of specialists to help with their upbringing.

“Whenever possible,” the website notes, “parents are involved in the growth process.”

After Maxima cut the ribbon on the new Dushi House on Tuesday, she sat down to chat with staff members and youth at the facility.

The Queen argued deeply with officials during her visit to the children’s home, while plates of cakes and biscuits, as well as thermoses of tea, appeared to remain untouched.

Before leaving, Máxima also greeted some of the residents of the Dushi House, named for the Dushi learning method it employs so that each child becomes “someone who can fully participate in society.”
