Queen Mary’s nephew Count Nikolai has revealed his shocking views on Australia, after spending six months studying at the University of Technology Sydney.
The 24-year-old member of the Danish royal family appeared on the latest cover of men’s lifestyle magazine GQ Hype and told the publication his surprising point of view.
“When I think of Australians, I imagine a mullet and a mustache, and very sporty and active people,” he began.
‘Like the Danes, we’re all pretty chill too. I think all Danes around the world find Australia fascinating because it is so far away and quite exotic.
However, he added that after spending several months living in Sydney in 2023, his preconceptions about life in Australia changed dramatically after some friends took him to the AFL to watch the Swans play.
