Princess Anne is “slowly recovering”, her husband, Vice-Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, announced as she left Bristol hospital this afternoon.
Sir Tim spent two and a half hours at Southmead Hospital with his wife this afternoon before leaving at around 2pm.
When asked if the princess would be ready to leave the hospital tomorrow, she told reporters that “she will come out when she is ready.”
The Princess Royal, 73, suffered minor head injuries on Saturday while walking around her Gatcombe Park property in Gloucestershire and was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol with “minor head injuries”.
Due to the injuries she suffered, the royal cannot remember exactly what happened, but it is believed she was hit on the head by a horse.
Her loyal husband has visited the princess every day since the accident and accompanied her as she was taken to hospital at night.
