Lottie and Lewis got engaged in November 2023. She was stunned when Lewis popped the question in Paris, after three years of dating.
At the time of their proposal, the couple shared a video of the moment Lewis got down on one knee.
Lewis took Lottie and Lucky on a weekend getaway and went to great lengths to decorate the hotel room for the romantic proposal.
The former tennis player created a path of red rose petals and candles to guide a glamorous Lottie to him, where he got down on one knee.
With his son present to witness the magical moment, Lewis pulled out a massive diamond ring.
Despite all her recent celebrations, Lottie revealed on Thursday that it had not been easy being a first-time mother and that she had struggled to come to terms with the death of her own mother, Johannah, who died in 2016 from leukaemia.
The star told The Mail: “The hardest part about becoming a mother has been not having my family around to witness it. When things went wrong during the birth, I screamed at my mum and asked her to help me. After my son was finally born, the pain of knowing she would never hold him brought me fresh agony.
“And every time I was faced with a problem (like breastfeeding), I didn’t want to ask anyone else for help. If I couldn’t ask for help, I told myself, I would have to figure it out on my own, which obviously made life even harder. But I guess my stubbornness was another expression of my pain.
