Pregnant influencer Christie Swadling broke down in tears on Wednesday when her fiancé Joel Price refused to speak to her on the phone while she was at work.
The social media personality, 27, took to Instagram with a series of tearful videos that showed her sobbing while driving her car.
Through tears, Christie explained that she was crying because Joel, 38, was “at work” and couldn’t talk to her on the phone.
‘Pregnancy hormones are literally no joke. This is just pathetic,” she began to rant through tears.
‘I’m literally crying because I called Joel and he couldn’t talk to me because he didn’t have time because he’s at work and I’m crying.
‘What the hell? I’m so excited. I can’t stop crying. I keep laughing because I’m like, “Why the fuck are you crying?”
She went on to say, “I got so angry because he couldn’t talk to me and now I can’t stop crying… it’s so stupid.” What the hell? There are people dying.
Christie continued to cry for several minutes, adding that she “feels like if I don’t cry I’ll explode” due to pregnancy hormones.

“I’m very sad right now, but I’m not sad,” he tried to explain.
Twenty minutes later, Christie shared another video of her lying at home saying she was “fine” and just feeling “tired.”
It comes just a week after Christie came under fire online for announcing her pregnancy with fiancé Joel last Tuesday morning.
The influencer shared a video on Instagram that showed her placing red roses in front of a large glass sign that read “Baby price, due May 2025.”
‘Words cannot describe our happiness right now. Baby price due in May 2025,” she wrote in the caption.
However, some fans questioned the “strange” video and said it seemed as if the couple were announcing a loss.
The social media personality took to Instagram with a series of tearful videos that showed her sobbing while driving her car.
“It looks like a tombstone,” one person wrote on social media.
“When I first saw it I thought they were announcing a (death),” a second person commented.
‘What’s up with the ad? “Looks like someone just died,” said another.
“I thought it was a loss announcement or something,” one agreed.
In her post, Christie explained that she was preparing to begin her IVF journey when she took a pregnancy test.
“One day before we had an appointment with our doctor to begin our IVF journey, I went to take another pregnancy test after feeling ALL the symptoms known to a pregnant woman,” she began.
Through tears, Christie explained that she was crying because Joel was “at work” and couldn’t talk to her on the phone.
“And there I found a pre positive test that I did a few weeks ago, but I was hospitalized after the numerous negative tests I had previously, I only saw one line first and put it back in the draw… after 6 more positive tests That night, I was finally convinced that my dreams had come true,” he continued.
“Joel has been my biggest support throughout this journey and I knew from day one that he is the one I am living life with. I am so excited for this new chapter in our lives.”
The announcement came months after Joel received a restraining order and was charged with common assault related to domestic violence.
Joel was granted an interim Arrested Violence Order (AVO) by NSW Police on Christie’s behalf in April. He pleaded not guilty to the assault charge.
Daily Mail Australia understands the matter was heard in court on August 6.
The couple began dating in 2020 before Joel got down on one knee and proposed the following year.
