The former Republican governor of Ohio has said he believes there could be a secret plot afoot that would have Democrats replace Biden as the party’s presidential nominee before the November election.
John Kasich, whose tepid 2016 presidential bid ended in failure, said he believes poor polling data, along with Biden’s poor performance at speaking events, have given Democrats a reason to look for an alternative candidate. .
Kasich, 72, made the claims on Democratic-leaning MSNBC on Friday night.
“I’m starting to wonder if there’s a real chance that Joe Biden won’t be the Democratic nominee,” Kasich began.
