Cranston Police Chief Michael Winquist said the department was aware of Lynch’s arrest and that an “administrative investigation” is underway, according to the outlet.

“All Cranston police officers recognize that they are held to a higher standard and must act professionally both on and off duty,” Winquist said in a statement.

‘Failure to meet this expectation will result in disciplinary action.’

Lynch agreed to pay $100 in court costs to have the case dismissed, according to 10 WJAR News.

Stadium security also issued him with a trespassing warrant, the outlet reported.
