Pink was a proud mother as she was joined by her daughter, Willow, on stage as they performed together during the Democratic National Convention in Chicago on Thursday.
The 44-year-old “So What” hitmaker (whose teenage daughter is no stranger to singing in front of a live audience) sang along to the lyrics on the final day of the 2024 Democratic National Convention at the United Center.
Their duet comes shortly after the 13-year-old left her mother’s summer carnival tour to pursue her own passion for theater.
Pink, whose real name is Alecia Beth Hart Moore, and Willow sang the star’s 2017 hit, What About Us.
The singer shares her daughter and seven-year-old son Jameson with husband Carey Hart, whom she married in 2006.

The mother-daughter duo coordinated colors wearing all-black ensembles as they stood side by side under the bright stage lights.
Pink wore a strapless corset top and loose-fitting black pants that were held up with a black and silver belt around her waist.
The pleated fabric also partially wrapped around the singer’s back for an elegant touch, and she completed the look with a pair of black boots.
Willow wore a simple black shirt, as well as black pants and combat boots that gave her an edgy look.
The teenager has followed in her mother’s footsteps and in 2018 covered the song A Million Dreams for The Greatest Showman: Reimagined.
A few years later, in 2021, the Grammy winner and her daughter released a duet called Cover Me In Sunshine. The song charted in several countries, including number six on the Australian ARIA chart.
Earlier this year in February, Willow appeared on stage with her mother during her Summer Carnival Tour in Australia and the pair notably sang Cover Me In Sunshine.
And last year in January, Pink proudly shared a clip of her daughter (who was 11 at the time) performing an Olivia Rodrigo cover during her first recital.

Pink is currently in the midst of her Summer Carnival tour, with the next date scheduled for Saturday, August 24 in Chicago at Soldier Field.
The Raise Your Glass singer will be making other stops in cities across the United States and also in Vancouver through November of this year.
The final date of their tour is scheduled for November 20 at the Colonial Life Arena located in Columbia, South Carolina.
A few months earlier in June, the artist took to her main Instagram page to reveal that Willow would be stepping away from performing on her mother’s tour to pursue her passion for theater.
In a video posted to her fans and followers, Pink can be seen having an emotional conversation with the teenager. “I want you to tell me everything. You’re leaving me. Why would you do that?” she asked jokingly.
The star then added: “What do you do when you get home? What are you looking forward to?” Willow revealed that she will be starring in a production of Bye Bye Birdie.
“Okay, theater. Did you fall in love with Mamma Mia? I remember when you first walked on stage in Mamma Mia and you were like…” Pink said as she waved her arms in the air in excitement.
“And I thought, ‘Who is that person?’ I’d never seen you that big and you had six times more energy than your body. It was incredible. I was stunned.”

Willow expressed her dream of doing theater “professionally” and eventually having the opportunity to perform on Broadway.
Pink then told her daughter: “You have your own path and you want to be on it and I love that that’s for you.”
“I will tell you that in this last concert I saw a version of you that I didn’t know existed. And it’s really amazing to see you grow and come out of me.”
At the time, she also wrote in the caption of the post: “This weekend’s shows were Willow’s last of the tour before taking some time to follow her dreams.”

“It’s amazing to see your children grow up and come out of you, but I’m beyond proud. We all are. I’m going to miss you so much. ,” the singer concluded.
“I promised I wouldn’t cry, but I did NOT promise I wouldn’t hyperventilate during our hug.”

In addition to her tour, Pink has been having a busy summer and was spotted at Wimbledon last month in July.
The award-winning singer will also celebrate her 45th birthday next month on September 8.
