A Bathurst man has revealed his big plans after winning $15 million in last week’s Oz Lotto draw.

The New South Wales man claimed the only division one winning entry in Oz Lotto draw 1597 on Tuesday and takes home the full $15 million jackpot.

The winning entry was unregistered, meaning officials at The Lott had to wait for the mysterious ticket holder to show up to claim their prize.

“When I checked my ticket, I thought I was going to have a heart attack,” the man said.

‘I seriously didn’t know what to do at that moment. The only thing I remember is that my spine was tingling.

The new billionaire revealed that he would use the money to help others.

“It’s great to know I’ll be able to help my family,” he said. “The only thing I care about doing is taking care of my family and making sure they are happy and healthy.

The winning numbers for Oz Lotto draw 1597 on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 were 33, 35, 15, 13, 30, 4 and 32, while the supplementary numbers were 20, 27 and 45.

Across Australia, there was one division one winning entry in the 1597 Oz Lotto draw: New South Wales claimed victory.

The Lott’s division one winner count has reached 326 so far in 2024, including 97 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
