Lifetime is producing a two-part documentary series about Nicole Brown Simpson to coincide with the 30th anniversary of her murder on June 12, 1994.
News of the project comes a day after Brown Simpson’s ex-husband and accused murderer, OJ Simpson, died at age 76 after battling cancer.
The project about Brown Simpson, who was fatally stabbed at the age of 35 along with her friend Ronald Goldman, 25, outside their home in Brentwood, California, is titled The Life and Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The Brown Simpson project “has been in the works for more than a year,” the outlet reported, noting that it is being done in “an attempt to reclaim his narrative.”
Lifetime has conducted interviews with “more than 50 participants,” including family and friends, according to THR.
