Jason Whitlock claims new Seattle Kraken assistant Jessica Campbell is a “disaster waiting to happen” because players will try to “get into her pants” in a disgusting rant about the NHL’s first female coach.

Campbell made history earlier this week when she became the first woman to land a full-time coaching position in the NHL, as well as one of the first to do so in all of American sports.

However, after taking her place on Seattle’s bench on Tuesday night, Whitlock unleashed a vile sexist rant at the 32-year-old, claiming she will be the subject of sexual advances from Kraken players.

The controversial sportscaster said about Campbell in his Podcast ‘No Fear’: ‘This woman is 32 years old, she’s in the age range of NHL players, she’s attractive… I’m keeping it real because that’s what we do on this show.

‘Man, I’d hate to be Seattle’s human resources department. There are going to be some problems here.

“A group of athletes, an attractive coach that they have to work closely with, I just don’t see how this won’t end badly.”

‘This whole thing, “Oh, they just hired the best coach.” Was a 32-year-old woman the best candidate to be an assistant coach in the National Hockey League? Miss me with that.’

Whitlock then added: “I think it’s going to lead to a lot of shenanigans, because there’s not going to be any real respect for this woman and then it’s all, ‘I wonder if I can get in her pants.'”

So far, Kraken players have reacted positively to the news of Campbell’s appointment as assistant coach, with defenseman Vince Dunn praising her for making NHL history this week.

“Something we’re all proud to be a part of,” Dunn said. “We are certainly making a statement around the world for all women, so tonight will be a special moment for her.”

However, Whitlock continued his insulting assessment of Campbell by implying that she might make sexual advances of her own in the Kraken locker room.

‘Any woman who is there during training camp, let’s say if in real life she is a six. “During training camp she’s an eight and a half, almost a nine,” he said.

‘That woman, in that environment, will be attacked. And she’s a woman, she may be executing some of her own attacks.

“That’s why we need separate spaces and environments.”
