Brett Favre’s hope for how America’s electoral map will turn out divided his fans, after believing that “if everyone put God first,” Republicans would win in an unprecedented 538-0 shutout.
Favre’s support for Donald Trump has been clear for as long as the former president has sought political office.
That belief has been no clearer than in the past six days, when he defended Trump in Green Bay, Wisconsin, last Wednesday, as well as in Tuesday night’s graphic.
The map has come closer to reality several times, as recently as 1984, with Ronald Reagan’s 525-13 victory over Walter Mondale.
However, some objected to Favre bringing his personal values into a broader conversation about Christianity. Others supported the NFL legend’s thoughts.

Favre’s message on the US electoral map shows Republicans winning in every state
“Thank you, sir, for always putting the American people first in everything you have done,” one person said.
‘Another “Christian” who steals from the poor and gives himself away.’
“If only Christians would really follow the teachings of Jesus,” said another person with an attached map of the Democrats’ 538-0 victory.
‘Amen! Unfortunately, we’re always being attacked from all sides…just keep your armor on and put one foot in front of the other!’

Favre has been in the headlines in recent years for a welfare scandal in the state of Mississippi, where he was charged.
The Viking and Jet testified before the Congressional Ways and Means Committee in September about the matter.
In this case, about $77 million in funds intended for needy families were redirected to wealthy families. Favre lobbied state officials to fund Southern Miss’ volleyball facilities at the time while his daughter was on the team.
Favre has denied wrongdoing and has not been criminally charged.
