Social media is in a frenzy after a series of behind-the-scenes photos from the set of Stranger Things surfaced online.
The show’s creator, Ross Duffer, posted a glimpse of what happens when the cameras aren’t rolling by sharing nine photos on his Instagram today.
Two of the photos show Stranger Things stars Sadie Sink, 21, and Caleb McLaughlin, 22.
The actors play Max Mayfield and Lucas Sinclair, after Sink joined the show in its second season.
Sink was critically praised for her portrayal of Mayfield in season four, but her character’s fate is unknown.
However, because of Duffer’s new photos, Stranger Things fans believe her character’s story isn’t over yet.

The actress’s character, Max, died briefly during the season four finale and was left in a coma after being revived by Eleven, played by Millie Bobby Brown.
His character was the last scene in the hospital with a heartbroken Lucas sitting by his bed.
Duffer’s first photo of the two actors shows the actress awake on a hospital gurney next to a smiling McLaughlin.
The creator of the series further provoked ‘Lumax’ fans by sharing a photo of the actors holding hands.
There was also a photo of a Kate Bush cassette tape in Duffer’s Instagram post.
Bush’s song, ‘Running Up That Road’, was Mayfield’s ‘personal anthem’ and was heard during the acclaimed Sink scene in the episode Dear Billy.
