The UFC legends faced off in a bitter duel in 2018 for the lightweight championship, with the fight recording a record 2.4 million pay-per-view buys.
The build-up to the fight was riddled with unpleasant moments, including McGregor attacking a bus carrying Nurmagomedov and making disparaging remarks about the Dagestani’s religion.
However, Nurmagomedov had the last laugh in the Octagon, submitting McGregor with a neck crank in the fourth round before launching a wild attack on the Irishman’s team in the aftermath.
And in never-before-seen footage, UFC fans heard exactly what Nurmagomedov said to McGregor immediately after securing a resounding victory.
He yelled: “I f***ed you up, bitch,” before appearing to spit in the direction of the former champion.
Fans have taken to social media to reflect on the revealing new images.
“Khabib is a menace,” said one fan on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“I can’t believe I never noticed the spit thing,” said a second fan. “You can see him being a bad boy and all that.”
A third fan joked: ‘Hawk Tuah spat on that thing.’
Nurmagomedov fought just twice after his win over McGregor, citing a promise made to his mother following his father’s death when he announced his retirement.
This means that the Irishman will never avenge his painful defeat in Las Vegas.
One fan reflected on the brutal reality, saying: “This will and does haunt him for the rest of his life. He knows full well he can’t get revenge.”
