Buying Beverly Hills has been cancelled after just two seasons.
The Netflix reality show followed Mauricio Umansky, the ex-husband of Real Housewives star Kyle Richards, as he runs a real estate agency that specializes in high-end sales in a similar vein to Selling Sunset.
Mauricio starred in the series alongside his daughters Farrah and Alexia, and the second batch of episodes was released in March.
But, Deadline It has been reported that the sudden cancellation is due to ‘viewership numbers versus production cost’.
Fans were quick to voice their opinions on social media, with some claiming they were “shocked” by the news.

The final season documented the ups and downs of Mauricio and his famous wife’s marriage that culminated in their eventual separation.
At one point, she explained to her daughters that although she tried to do “everything possible” to save their marriage, Kyle needed “space” and she allowed him to date other people but on the condition that they not talk about it.
Speaking in a clip from the show’s second season premiere, she told her daughters: ‘I spent 26 incredible years with your mother and I wanted to do everything I could to save them. Your mother came and spoke to me and said, ‘I think I need space.

There was also a narrative-driven second season based on Kyle and Mauricio’s daughter, Sophia, who becomes involved in the family business.
There was also a scene that showed the parents sitting down with their daughters (they have four in total) to address the news of their split after it initially hit the media.
The unscripted show premiered in late 2022 and has reached a total of 18 episodes.
